Report:AMTZ is India’s premier medical technology park with Common Manufacturing Facilities & Common Scientific Facilities that include specialized laboratories, warehousing, and testing centers such as the Center for Electromagnetic Compatibility and Safety Testing, Center for Biomaterial Testing, Center for 3-D Printing, Centers for Lasers, MRI Super Conducting Magnets, Gamma Irradiation Centre, Mold & Machining Centre, and many other industrial service centers. Andhra Pradesh Medical Technology Zone is one of world’s largest medical technology manufacturing cluster, working on research, development and production of life saving medical devices.
48 students, along with the faculty members were participated in the educational tour. The students were interacted with the Scientific personnel of the AMTZ and learnt about various technologies and the products manufacturing in the organization.
Outcome:Students were inspired with the innovations, the products manufacturing at the organization, and also showed interest to become entrepreneurs.
